Labels are printed on stock that has an adhesive backing to it.  There are many custom options available as well from our custom quote link at the top of the page.  The additional options to consider are labels used for food products, water resistant uses or outdoors as an example.  Standard label stock is primarily used for indoor use, be sure to request a custom quote if you have other requirements or concerns.

60lb

This is most commonly used for note pads, letterheads, restaurant placemats and photocopier paper.  Our standard offset runs use 60lb offset and is equivalent to 24lb bond.  It is thicker than regular copier paper and has a quality feel, it folds easily, and is a good choice when you are doing letterhead or notepads.

80lb

This is less commonly stock for flyers, brochures, posters, magazines and gives a professional quality thickness to the paper stock.  It is thinner than 100lb c2s text, but folds easier and tends to not require scoring.  This is more common in thicker magazines as it weights less for postage and is not thin enough to bleed through the other side.  It also is ideal for folded brochure if cracking is a concern with your clients.  It is not what most people order, so turn around times might be on the later edge of our suggested timelines for production.

UV is an abbreviation for Ultraviolet Coating. It is a high gloss clear liquid; spread over the paper like ink and then cured instantly with an ultraviolet light.  It is not an ideal solution for products you will need to write on.

Die Cutting - Die Supplied

Yes you can supply your own die or if you have ordered this exact product before and have confirmed we still have the die onsite, you can use this selection. It will save you the cost of making the die itself. Another great reason for using Printer Gateway Inc.

Die Cutting - Die Custom

Selecting this option covers the cost of die cutting and ordering a standard die for the job. We will catalogue this die and it can be available for future orders. Once you have completed your first order, in future you can select the Die Supplied option and save on the cost of your repeat orders. Please note that custom die cutting pricing is based on standard complexity die's and there is a possibility that your die could be more expensive because of the intricacies of the die lines. Over 95% percent of the custom dies requested fall within our pricing. However if you are concerned and would like to be on the safe side, please submit a custom quote request and be sure to include a copy of the die line or artwork so that our estimating department can quote your job properly.
