Posters are printed full color on one side of a sheet of paper.  Standard poster stock is 100lb c2s text as it is slightly thicker than other text weight stocks and is seem as a better quality product.  These are intended for display, phone pools, billboards and the alike.  There are many standard sizes, but custom sizes are also available by filling out the request quote form found in the link at the top of the page.

100lb c2s Text

This is the most common stock for flyers, brochures, posters, magazines and gives a professional quality thickness to the paper stock.  It is commonly folded, but it is often recommended to add the option of scoring to reduce cracking on the folds.  Most people don’t score the brochures, but depending on your client’s preference of cost verses quality is may be the best option.  The paper is a nice balance between thickness and maintaining the ability to fold easily.

80lb c2s Text

This is less commonly stock for flyers, brochures, posters, magazines and gives a professional quality thickness to the paper stock.  It is thinner than 100lb c2s text, but folds easier and tends to not require scoring.  This is more common in thicker magazines as it weights less for postage and is not thin enough to bleed through the other side.  It also is ideal for folded brochure if cracking is a concern with your clients.  It is not what most people order, so turn around times might be on the later edge of our suggested timelines for production.

60lb Enviro 100 Uncoated Offset

Enviro 100 is made from 100% post-consumer fiber and is FSC certified.  This is commonly used when recycled paper content is a priority to the client.  This stock tends to be grainer in look, feel and has less opacity as the paper has a more natural colour to it and is not bleached white like many other papers.

UV High Gloss

UV is an abbreviation for Ultraviolet Coating. It is a high gloss clear liquid; spread over the paper like ink and then cured instantly with an ultraviolet light.  It is not an ideal solution for products you will need to write on.
